I loved that there was always someone at the front desk. The breakfast selection was extensive- cold cereal, instant oatmeal, scrambled eggs, bacon. sausage, biscuits and gravy. There were also freshly made muffins, danish, and bread to toast. You could eat there or grab it to go which I was glad was an option twice during my 4 day stay. They had wine & cheese from 5-7 and then cookies (chocolate chip most nights) and milk (8 oz bottles) from 8-9 pm. Even though the stay wasn’t a vacation, these added things made it feel more enjoyable. The staff - those replenishing food in buffet breakfast, cleaning rooms and lobby/lounge area, and all the desk staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and genuinely hospitable. If I am back this way, I will definitely rebook. I used up the one K-cup of coffee (decaf, half caffeine and tea K-cups) and asked if I could get a second one. The young man came back with 4 of the full caffeine cups. From check-in to check-out, the staff really excelled.

everything! charming, rich and fascinating history. loved the wine and cheese reception in the cozy, cool lounge, and the milk and cookies for my son in a separate room. everything is well appointed and top attention to details. coziest beds ever! excellent recommendation for delicious Italian food at De Lisio’s. the ONLY negative is the same one all across this state—you’re all way behind the times: ditch the styrofoam and plastic carry out stuff! and no need to wrap your apples in plastic. who wants their apples handled that much? and it’s just plain backward to still be using plastic and styrofoam, plus it’s not classy.

loves the hotel in general! my boyfriend and I were just doing a weekend staycation randomly around new years chose to make reservations for here at very last minute upon arrival found out they are a Wyndham hotel so I used my rewards then you are offered complementary wine and cheese then later milk and cookies. the suite was excellent but having a whole living room bedroom and bathroom you’d think they would install more of a kitchenette section but it was beautiful so we will be returning! very high ceilings 🥰

This is a beautiful property with spacious and clean rooms. Loved the cookies and milk in the evenings. This may need to be a new tradition at home! Staff was very helpful. The breakfast was delicious. We were needing a location near the hospital because my sister was having surgery. This was convenient to hospital and many locations. We plan on returning when we can take advantage of all of the restaurants near the property!

Such a beautiful, historic hotel. I love out of the ordinary places to stay, and this was definitely it. Staff was very nice. Love the look of the place. Room was clean. Very quiet too. Did not get to do any of the complimentary wine and cheese, or cookies and milk (we were at a concert) but complimentary breakfast was nice. We did not stay here long, but I definitely want to come back and stay for more than one night.
